First look, New Kershaw: Camber #1678

Almost like what the 0770 is to the 0777 except this is more of a size shrink than that.

I think it is on par with the example you gave. Blur's blade is 3.4" and handle 4.5", the Camber's blade is 3.0" and the handle 4.2"

If this winds up priced the about the same as the S30V Blur I'll probably buy one. I like the size better than the 0770.

This is going to be a cool knife. Love how they put the trac-tec inserts in just the right location to where you'll be grabbing to pull it out of pocket. Not to keen on the tip up carry only but something I can live with. I see purples and blues and grays and reds and and and in this ones future.

I like the blade shape and handle shape. I like my Blur but don't like the recurve part of the blade all that much.

And BTW it was the Scrambler that I was interested in and have been waiting for.

The Diskin Hunter folder is called the Strobe...

"Knife users who love the look of Kershaw’s Diskin Hunter, but would love it even more in a folding knife, now have their wish.

The Strobe takes the sweeping lines of the Diskin Hunter and turns them into a smaller, folding pocketknife. The clip-point blade offers a deep belly and opens with a handy flipper."

Blur and a 0770 had a baby.

I was thinking the same thing. It looks like it's going to be a great compact EDC size as well. It's a tad shorter than the 0770 closed, and the 0770 already carries very comfortably and discretely in pocket. Add to that a 3" S30V blade, and this is going to make for one fantastic EDC knife.

That's a great looking little blade. Kershaw is doing a great job on their folder line lately.

I just noticed: the catalog pic has a recurve while the proto doesn't. Does anyone know which is correct?
