Will the REKAT blade be like the one in the ad in TK (spear point?)? I would imagine that the custom version will keep the blade shape of the one posted in this thread.

It just goes to show what a photo can do. Both knives (the one here and the one in the TK ad) are the same blade shape and grind. Spark great photo

Actually Bob, that's not a photo, but a freehand sketch I did while messing around on a coffee break, still needs some work though...

Pat's and REKAT's blade shapes are the same?! Thanks Bob. I can't tell you how ecstatic I am to hear that.

Still, if it's at all possible, do you think you can make the blade with a double V flat grind instead? It's just a minor quibble really. Almost hardly worth mentioning, but that would be nice.

The old-style Pioneer is one of my favorite knives. Tough as a tank, and no fear of the lock failing. I have two of them, and will likely get a third.

Looks like a winner. The handle looks comfortable. I like the blade shape. The lock is strong. Gotta handle one to check fit and finish. I'm assuming it has a pocket clip. I wonder if there is an Internet dealer that will have it. Hmmm.
