First Look: Victorinox Pionier X

Well I've carried it everyday for the past 3 weeks, and it certainly doesn't disappoint! The damasteel is like having a RWL-34/CPM-154 type of blade, the edge retention is definitely better than the stock steel. Pretty too! I've cut a fair share of cardboard, junk mail, fruit and its holding up wonderfully as expected. I haven't reprofiled a stock edge, but keeping it sharp on something like a Sharpmaker is a breeze. The gray/green Alox is a nice departure from stock silver. They are pricey, but well worth it in my opinion.

That's great to hear. Victorinox quality with upgraded blade steel was exactly what I was hoping.
