3 mile walk this afternoon, and another 2 tonight with one of the dogs.

14 BPs so far for January.

1200m last night. I almost didn't get in the pool; I could hear the hot tub calling me. turned out OK, tho.
4+20.25=24.25

1600m swim tonight. You know your life lacks excitement when you find yourself doing laps at 8:30 pm on a Friday night. Oh, well.

Spent the weekend in Chicago. Friday was 5 miles, Saturday was 8.8 miles, Sunday was 11.6 miles.

Total was 25 miles for 25 additional points.

Two days ago I did a leg workout that's left me so sore I'm having issues walking :P any advice for sore muscles?

My suggestion would be to find an MAT Specialist in your area to talk over how well your neuromuscular system is functioning. If you don't have someone locally, PM me and I can offer some assistance.

Honest answer? Nothing. I was wearing headphones so people don't talk to me. I'll jam to tunes while doing cardio, but a lot of the time I'm jumping around so much when I do my body weight circuit I take my headphones out. The gym where I workout plays decent music throughout the whole gym too, sometimes I'll just listen to that with my headphones in.

Thank you for the advice - I think I'm good, I'm pretty sure it was magnesium. I'm running and jumping around just fine now :)

Alright, I'm in. I went in for a check up and I am fat! I've gained another 10 lbs since last summer and it has got to stop.

Hah! That's nothing... I gained 15 lbs in December alone.
I be gettin' fat yo.

@Captain Airyca: I've been pretty happy with ZMA (Zinc, magnesium and vitamin B6 supplement.) combined with one of those all in one vitamin/mineral supplements.
Getting rest isn't easy. I tend to wish a day had 8 more hours so I could get some sleep.
I average 5 hrs a night now, but after almost 2 years of slacking i've been back at the gym for 9 weeks and i'm already stronger than ever, so i guess i'm doing something right ;)
