Hah! That's nothing... I gained 15 lbs in December alone.

@Captain Airyca: I've been pretty happy with ZMA (Zinc, magnesium and vitamin B6 supplement.) combined with one of those all in one vitamin/mineral supplements.
Getting rest isn't easy. I tend to wish a day had 8 more hours so I could get some sleep.
I average 5 hrs a night now, but after almost 2 years of slacking i've been back at the gym for 9 weeks and i'm already stronger than ever, so i guess i'm doing something right ;)
Ill check my multivitamin and see if its got zinc and vitamin B. If not I'll check it out!
 
2000m swim last night.

7.5+30.25=37.75

....and another 1600m (+ 2x25's underwater) tonight. The high school (ice) hockey team was coming in as I was getting out....wow, a locker room full of teenage boys is loud. I actually swam on the varsity swim team and played club hockey concurrently for three years in high school. I'm betting none of those boys does anything BUT play hockey.

6+37.75=43.75
 
1 mile walk tonight.
Supposed to be more, but I was joined by my kids and father-in-law, so that more than makes up for it.

29BPs TTD.
 
2200m swim tonight. 600m with fins....thought my hammys were gonna 'splode.

8.25+37.75=46 BP TTD.
X-C skiing for an hour today. Prolly about 6 points worth...but who cares? It was quite nice to get out and ski; with my back injury last winter I didn't go out at all. We need some more snow (which it looks like we'll be getting tomorrow night) but it was pretty nice just the same. The place is called the Urban Forestry Center; it's 182 acres of woods, salt marsh (it's on a tidal estuary) and fields. It's a couple miles from my house and can be really beautiful, despite not being that "wild". I had my 12 with me on my pack, tho Imma need a better setup for winter activities. That 3-day can't hold all the bulky winter stuff that should be there for a safe outing.

Looks like a great time, Mike.

4 mile bike ride yesterday = 1BP

2 mile bike ride and 2 mile walk tonight = 2.5 BP.

29 + 1 + 2.5 = 32.5 BPs TTD.
 
I'm not getting any points, but shovelled 2+ ft. of snow yesterday (about 2 hrs.) then again this morning for an hour and tonight for another hour. Prolly doesn't count as exercise since I was drinking yesterday and this evening. Still, made me sweat, which is something when the temp is in the high teens.

what up! started a new eating habit of only eating raw vegetable last week and lost 8 pounds, it's hard trying to get out to the gym, everyday so i do what i can during the day. I'm shooting to lose 20 pounds to start.

That sounds like a really good start, but probably not a long-term sustainable plan. You'll definitely want to add some type of exercise to your regimen. I can't stand the gym. I think that's why many of us on here hike, walk, run, bike and/or swim.

Yes, need to lose the weight for the baconathon coming up, its just hard to get out Mon thru Fri with kids and school homework, drama practice... Everything after 3 pm is rush, rush, rush til bedtime... We go on hikes/mountain biking on the weekends but the gym has a play daycare during the week so we try to hit up the gym when we have time.. the veggies are starting to be a part of me. I'm really looking forward to eating raw broccoli Instead of making sandwiches all the time

Winter Hike up Mt. Major today. 4.5 miles......averaging 1 mile per hour, lol. Beautiful day to my way of thinking and I did take a $#!+load of pics. Tired like you read about, so pics'll be another thread.

2.5 mile walk this morning, and another 1.5 tonight in the hills of San Francisco.

44 BPs for January.
