But every rule has an exception…(Hogue)Good rule of thumb i tell everyone, if a company is known for producing firearms, dont buy their knives.
Yes I love Hogues knives. But smith and wesson, Remington, Winchester, oohhhhhhh boy.But every rule has an exception…(Hogue)

OP is probably deeply confused by now !That's really an unfair comparison.
- HI-Points are appropriately priced and function surprisingly well despite the low price and cheap appearance.
- Strider knives __________ ...
Sorry, I trailed off there. What were we talking about?
Oh, yeah, for the price of a Strider you could get a HI-Point, a couple hundred rounds of ammo, and a couple of Cold Steel knives that are better in almost every way.
Welcome! By now you’ve noticed that we’re happy to explore whatever tangents amuse us. You mentioned a Benchmade dagger…which one?Hello,
I recently got into knives. My first two knives, I purchased two Smith and Wesson knife/seat belt cutter combos a while back. I recently learned they were trash and ordered two Cold Steels. They arrived in the mail today, an AD10 and 4 Max Scout. My whole collection, 2 Smith and Wesson, 1 Benchmade dagger, and the above Cold Steels. Im excited to be a part of this forum! Have a great day and thanks for the read
The mini SOCP. Great little knife! Its not very sharp on the sides but I think that was intentional.Welcome! By now you’ve noticed that we’re happy to explore whatever tangents amuse us. You mentioned a Benchmade dagger…which one?
My train of thought was “oh they make solid guns. Must be good quality american knives too..”Good rule of thumb i tell everyone, if a company is known for producing firearms, dont buy their knives.
The knives you think less of now can be practice knives when you decide to learn how to sharpen knives on whatever new system catches your eye. You don’t want to learn on your best knives. My train of thought was “oh they make solid guns. Must be good quality american knives too..”
Well that was wrong. Been binging “Metal_Complex” on youtube and I learned all my previous knives are trash.![]()
