Good rule of thumb i tell everyone, if a company is known for producing firearms, dont buy their knives.

Yes I love Hogues knives. But smith and wesson, Remington, Winchester, oohhhhhhh boy.

Oh, yeah, for the price of a Strider you could get a HI-Point, a couple hundred rounds of ammo, and a couple of Cold Steel knives that are better in almost every way.

I recently got into knives. My first two knives, I purchased two Smith and Wesson knife/seat belt cutter combos a while back. I recently learned they were trash and ordered two Cold Steels. They arrived in the mail today, an AD10 and 4 Max Scout. My whole collection, 2 Smith and Wesson, 1 Benchmade dagger, and the above Cold Steels. Im excited to be a part of this forum! The mini SOCP. Great little knife! Its not very sharp on the sides but I think that was intentional.

Well that was wrong. Been binging “Metal_Complex” on youtube and I learned all my previous knives are trash.

Don't worry over the junk drawer knives. I bet if we all combined our collections of the we wish we had known better knives we could build a very rusty island off the coast and live like kings. Very lacerated feet kings. With tetanus.

The knives you think less of now can be practice knives when you decide to learn how to sharpen knives on whatever new system catches your eye. You don’t want to learn on your best knives.
