This is my first WIP thread so bare with me as I work through it. In this thread, I will show the process of making two edge wrap knife blades from one billet of my Mystic Fire Wheel Damascus.
These first photos are of the damascus, which is a partial powder process.
If you have questions please ask and remember I am learning as I go.

I´m gonna kick back and relax.... this is gonna be awesome!

Thanks a lot!

Quite a billet.....do you use mild steel MIG wire or something exotic?

Forge weld to square,

then to a rectangle.

Cut into thirds and restacked.

Cut into 4ths and restacked, ready to forge weld

I use MIG wire, but only on the ends of the billet. If I weld on the sides, I use TIG, so to not get any mild steel in the billet.

Things should get interesting from here, keep checking in...
I need to work on journeyman knives this weekend so I will post more to this WIP on Monday.

David, stupid question but you're adding WD40 between the tiles? To help burn out oxygen or something? Sorry, not much experience with the fancy damascus.

Great pics Dave, I actually took pics of how I do the Ferry Flip yesterday, But you beat me to it! Great threat.
