Fishing Pics 2014

I hit the ice last night and managed 15 walleye in a few hours. Brought home 4 nice eater size fish and just had fun catching the rest. Forgot to get any pictures because I was so darn busy catching the fish!! I'll try get some next time.

Very nice bluegills there! I got two goods days of fishing in so far this year and caught mostly bluegills, but lots of them and mostly in that size range!
 
A pain to clean though. I only use em for live bait and thats just if a neighbor of mine is kind enough to give me a few when he goes fishing for them.

I hink they are incredibly easy to fillet. They are not delicate like crappie .
 
When your used to filleting cats, the bite size pieces that come off those things just don't seem worth it.

Ice just came off the lakes up here a little later than usual and I can't wait to get out after a bit of a slow hardwater season for me!
