Joe, talked to Paul yesterday afternoon. We decided to go with Black tooled leather with a black horned back Alligator inlay.

We will post photos upon completion.

I am sure what ever you and Paul do it will be fantastic. Waiting for two from Paul now and two more ready to go when I get the first back. Again great knife and I can not wait to see the sheath

kevin...i can't wait to see the sheath.....paul does great work...i am eagerly awaiting a knife from a maker to send it to him......i'd love to see that knife in person.....looks awsome...ryan

Folks, So far, this years end of the year best bowie thread is looking like insanity! All the candidates have been breath taking. Including yours, kevin. Ive been admiring these big bowies lately and want to start joining some with my folders. Thank you all for inspiring me.

Stephen, I was amazed by the fit/construction of the handle. As soon as I received it, I had to call Jerry to inquire as to the steps to how he worked the cross bar into the frame. Getting everything to line up perfectly was quite an effort I imagine.

Valiant1, Thats what I like about knives such as this, even though they look as delicate art objects I could cut trees down with it all day and still shave with it.

Jonathan, per our e-mails I know you are seriously getting the Bowie fever, however being the savvy collector you are I see you being very patient in studying before crossing that folder/fixed-blade line
I agree, there have been some outstanding Bowies represented here in just the first 2 months of the year, such as the Jason Knight Fighter that Coop just posted.
