Fiskers hatchet

I was really thinking on going ahead and getting the Fiskars but I just bought a Fiskars limb pruner.I used it once yesterday to trim off a rose bush,cut 6 or 7 1/4 to 3/4 rose stalks and it has several big dings in the cutting edge.
I am thinking of calling Fiskars about it.I bought it because I did not want to pick up a 6.00 China POS.It was 29.00 and to do this on using it one time,not good.
 
Just called them about the lopper.They said to sharpen it out or take it back to Lowes.
Here is a pic.I just hit it with my Dremel,helped some but still has big chips.
 
Took the lopper back today.I noticed that it was made in China,may be why it had the very soft steel.
I also picked up a Fiskers X7 14 in hatchet at wal mart tonight.Looks and feels good.I will see how the edge holds.I need to find a better sheath for it.
 
The 8inch Gerber works for me. Although I love my Golok, it won't drive pegs or nails.
 
The 14 will accomplish a lot more than the 8. I own both and have also found the 8 to be a finger smasher due to your hand being close to the head.
