Fixed blade AFCK? Try the Scrap Yard Street Scrapper!

I use an AFCK all the time, to me those two grips look rather totally different.
The muck rat looks a lot more ergonomic while the benchmade makes many grip concessions to its folder design.
YMMV.

I only wish they could be purchased. SS4 has pretty close to what I think are the best features in it's genre.

I wonder if the blade is 4/16 thick or what?

What's with the "International orders will only be accepted for established Busse Combat Knife Company customers." ???

Must I buy first a busse before I may ask to buy a Scrap Yard?

I've never seen anything like this before and I've bought knives around the globe.

And why are the "Terms and Conditions" not on the site?

why not ask on the scrapyard forum?

Well, I could see it if the fb had g10 slabs and the afck had a finger choil. I'm not sure I'd be comfortable using that grip high up on the AFCK handle though.

Again, very nice knives.

Just email Patti from Scrapyard very nicely and she will set you up for a deal... cos I did the exact same thing and I have not bought a single Busse before this..

I was lucky enough to visit the site just when the last batch of infi ss4 was released.
Then I saw the text and figured out I could never get things arranged before they're all gone.
Things are made so complicated.
Couldn't they really make a bigger batch?
This way it may look like they are creating a hype or in other words driving up the demand.
Maybe they could expand the factory, employing more people?

The high second market prices let some believe a lot of the buyers aren't users but only want to make a profit.
Don't know what to think about it.

Probably I'll be flamed for this.

I have lot of bark rivers.
They also work in a system of one type of knife per run.
And so only one run every year.
But in every other aspect there isn't any comparison possible between these two companies.
I gues I'm spooiled

FHA, I'd have to say I agree with you 100%. I'm also a big AFCK fan and my SS4 reminds me of a more robust version of the AFCK and while were talking comparisons the rounded spine reminds me of my Sebenzas.

I guess if others don't see it Oh well but your not alone in the comparison.;)
