Fixed Blade EDC?

I carry a fixed blade almost daily, along with a folder and a slip joint. I've got around 20 or so with a 3 to 4 inch blade that I rotate carrying.

I pocket carry small fixed blades around my place... maybe a folder too and have knives all over so they are ready at hand. I'm always selling my knives so it is hard to keep any good ones, lol!

I am keeping a Framelock or two though! I also have a slipjoint going that I will keep...

I plan on possibly making a slipjoint model and most definitely a small, light framelock (hopefully soon) for pocket carry. The slipjoint would be a ways off if I get to it.

Daniel- Do you use your fb or folder, the most?
And, is a slippie more work to make than a framelock?

Been carrying this tiny little guy.
Crazy useful, just about weightless around my neck, and just beautiful.

For those of you that want to carry a concealed fixed blade, the little neck knives are awesome. I didn't think I'd get as much use out of it as I do. But after carrying it for about a week, it's definitely proven itself. Very very convenient to have such a small blade for small cutting tasks that need a bit of precision.

With the big sister. Had the little one made after loving the large. Both tapered tang, red liner, 1095 with hamon.

. Here's another matching pair I had made by kyle hamon. The large was so great, I had a edc version made.
It's my favorite fixed edc. I'd much rather go custom, than get a production fixed edc.

Tmack - beautiful collection! every one a classic

Lycosa - my Ti Backpacker gets the most use of any of my knives hands down... while a fixed blade it weighs less than any of my folders which I like. I have only sharpened it twice.

My Kiridashi gets the most shop use... scores lots of Kydex and scrapes tons of epoxy, etc.

After those I have a decent group of fixed blades and folders. I made most of the fixed blades and my frickie which gets carried a lot. I'm keeping one of each of my Framelocks... I use the unfinished RF1 prototype quite a lot, the CPM D2 just holds an edge like nuts.

I have some nice ones for the kitchen too... one cool one being a laminated White Steel/Wrought Iron Ko Deba that was handmade in Japan... 64 RC! I actually use this junky "Vanadium" knife I reground the most though, it was cheap but has decent steel and insane edge geometry now that I reground it. I am keeping a Petty and something larger soon if I can... DFK of course.

Yes, I'm the proverbial shoemaker with no shoes... lmao!

Evan, you sell any of those, you contact me.. thanks :D I have a Bradburn, and a Fairly as well.. nice :D

I doubt it my brother! But you'll be my first stop. You have my word =)

That Bradburn "daisho" took me a long time to track down. Both pieces have bamboo under plates and are shobu zukuri. The smaller one was actually owned by Rolf at one point!

Thanks, Daniel. btw, please make Ron a knife.
Thanks, Guys.
Evan- Nice pack, my friend.
Hi Sid! :D
