Fixed blade EDC?

Who all keeps a fixed blade with them for their EDC knife? And how do you carry it. I would love pictures, and maybe ways to carry a fixed blade who's original sheath is crap and doesn't work.

I EDC a tiny 2.5 ish" fixed blade in a deep carry leather sheath. If my shirt is untucked nobody sees it. I just oredered a leather sheath for my BK14 but I'm not sure it'll ride as low as my smaller knife.

I carry a Benchmade Rant in the summer and a Ontario Ranger RD-4 Bush in the winter. The key is to get a kydex sheath with a Blade-Tech Tek-Lok. It's very easy to carry concealed. Heck, I even carry the Ranger to church.

I always have a small Bark River in either my left front, or left back pocket. In the summer I rotate between the PSK, Little Creek and the Mikro Canadian. In the winter, I'm more likely to have the Little Creek or the Colonial Patch in my front left pocket. Sorry, no pics.

I MUCH prefer ESEE (much better quality and edge), but I carry an Ontario RAT-3 for EDC, because it was at least half an inch shorter (significant for pocket carry), didn't have the pointy pommel, and was $20 cheaper.

esee izula sometimes, and i carry it in my shirt pocket in the sheath, mostly at work no pic right now.

How to carry a blade with a crappy sheath?

Make your own crappy sheath, plastic milk jug, cut it up, double it up and tape it up. Poor mans kydex.

There's also the cardboard and tape method, with a little patience and time you can make a sheath that won't look amazing, but will also last for about a year.

I like carrying my Izula for general use, especially during the summer. I wear it around the neck in an aftermarket kydex sheath.

I carry a have been carrying a bark River PSK for some time, but i got a Bark River Mini canadian a few weeks back and I have been carrying this most days. bot great knives.

Izula, watch-pocket or the belt... The Izula sheath is awesome though, it really provides a ton of different carrying options.

How did you get yours looking so great? Finish on blade? Scales or handles?

That's the finish the Izula comes with from the factory, and those are TKC scales.

Edit: I thought I would include a picture of my current EDC:

Scales are the Green/Black layered G10 from The Knife Connection, edge was finished on a 1000 grit Norton waterstone.

The TKC scales are fantastic. Make the knife handle much better and you can match colors to look really great.

I only carry fixed blades. Usually neck carry in a kydex sheath, and sometimes I carry in my front pocket. I'll post a couple more later on, but here is one that I made.
