Hey everyone, I just found a Ka-bar fixed blade knife in the "tactical" style ... big story here: it's now $25-$30 depending on style. It's the "Peter Janda Fin Tactical Knife." Story behind this one ... it's now $30. Not because it was flawed or performed poorly, but because it sold like rubbish. These went for $90 online (at sale price on Amazon and the like) and $120-$140 in stores. It sold poorly because Ka-Bar already makes an exceptional fixed blade knife of similar length for much less ... and I think we all know that knife. The only version that can't be had is the smooth drop point one. It can be had, but for $80. $50 more than the next most expensive version. Certainly not worth it.
What do you think about the other versions though, good buy?
