I can't be the only person thinking Troll Account can I ?? Given the airplay this subject has had before ?
hmm yes, there's one thing i for sure have noticed and that is that the term *troll* gets thrown around pretty carelessly and liberally on these forums. So much so, that i think it may be time for a refresher course on the relevant definition of the term.
'in internet slang, a troll (/ˈtroʊl/, /ˈtrɒl/) is a person who sows discord on the internet by starting arguments or upsetting people, by posting inflammatory,[1] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room, or blog) with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[2] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion,[3] often for their own amusement.' source - wikipedia
the title of this thread is as follows....'fixed blade suitable for defending against a bear attack?'
considering this is the *general knife discussion* forum, this thread's title and contents wouldn't appear to be too *extraneous* to me (notice i said *extraneous* key word there, not repetitive).
Ahhh what the heck, since all the cool kids seem to be doing it who cares if it's use makes sense or not...right?

This is the OP's reply, pretty early on. He was maybe just asking a question.Thank to you all for your advice.
Never thought of a bell or mace, so it's good I asked for help.

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/grizzly-bear-attack-todd-orr-montana-twice-bloody-facebook-video/That guy in the video (the first one that got mauled by a brownie) is one bad man. He got mauled by a likely 800lb+ brown bear, walked 3 miles out of the woods, and then shot a video of the carnage. Man, I bet that last two miles out was painful. That's some manly stuff.

Okay fine official BF clique members, I guess I'll bite on your troll-bait to satisfy you.
Pray tell, how so??
Guess I better watch it, I've offended the BF Gang by questioning bullish behavior towards another new guy while on their turf.

If you want to be taken seriously, don't mock others with big letters, bold colors, and emojis. Frankly, it's something I can see my son doing, but I am an grumpy middle-aged man.
How is any of this on topic?
I can't be the only person thinking Troll Account can I ?? Given the airplay this subject has had before ?
LOL, and questioning the validity of someone's account and insinuating that they are a troll based merely on their chosen topic of discussion isn't mocking someone?
also ironic.
Lorien, unless you start providing some basis for your claims I'm just going to block you.
to the first, you are a hypocrite
