Kinda went a little crazy gathering up a few old marbles that I have always wanted View attachment 2371161
Interesting to see different ideas. I've never carried in a pocket, either pistol or knife, (well outside of small traditional folder very occasionally). Just don't work horseback and thats where all my design ideas are from cause thats what I do. Sure glad that is working for ya and I'd like to see it if ya get that Ulticlip on er. We use those on the IWB holsters we make. It's great so far - the knife easily fits in my right front pocket next to my S&W J-frame 360PD, with the firearm in a sticky holster or DeSantis nemesis pocket holster. I'm planning to see if I can wrap a lanyard around the belt loop, so that the sheath can be retained in the pocket when I draw the knife out by the lanyard...
EDIT - I might also have a way to attach an Ulticlip to the sheath to clip it to the opening of my pocket (if the flat metal bar I have can be easily drilled to fit on the screw side of the clip while on the back of the sheath slot)
I'll keep you updated. I haven't had a horse since my first wife and I split over 30 years ago, but carried a Buck behind my hip when riding back in the day.Interesting to see different ideas. Our company motto (Horsewright) is: "Designed for the saddle from the saddle."These small fixed blades and sheaths I make are idea for horseback use where they can become a safety item and needed in a hurry if things get western. Years ago I watched my girlfriend, now wife ride a clients horse that was really bucking, getting with it in fact. After 4 or 5 jumps I saw her knife go flying. I was a lil worried about her landing on it. She didn't. I'd made neither the knife or the sheath but have been chasing the ideal horseback knife and sheath ever since.I'll keep you updated.
