Nope haven't tried that , but i have a few butane torches.. think the butane torch will do it?Have you tried the 'ember method?' It works well.

I’ve tried it a couple of times before, ended up roasting quite a few prototypes before making one that would be considered barely adequate.I'm seriously considering trying that. I've never done it before.
