Have you tried the 'ember method?' It works well.

(you can fast forward to 1:02 for the ember part)

Nope haven't tried that , but i have a few butane torches.. think the butane torch will do it?

Hmm...maybe, if you're careful with it? Seems like it could get too hot pretty fast, but I've never played around with a torch for that.

I’ve tried it a couple of times before, ended up roasting quite a few prototypes before making one that would be considered barely adequate.
