The two in AEB-L stainless were ordered as prizes for a memorial roping. The funds from the roping go to support young kids in Junior Rodeo and other western activities. The sponsor decided he wanted one for himself in 26C3 high carbon steel.

The catch? There's always a catch, was that I only had about 10 days to get em done. So from unground, heat treated blank to finished with a sheath:

Didn't help that I had to remake both sheaths for the two AEB-L knives. Sometimes one won't come out right, rare but happens. It so happened that the two that I really needed to be right the first time, (the other knives in this batch were for stock, so a day or two delay wouldn't of killed them), didn't work. So built two more sheaths and had them ready for pick up on Thursday, the roping is today Saturday. Phew!

Working on a matching belt for the sponsor today. He knew I wouldn't have that ready too in time.
What is the middle knife? Inquiring minds want to know.View attachment 2640111
Random pic of 3 knives that serve the same purpose ( I’d keep the middle one if forced to choose ).
That’s a Siegle of some type, I’m sure. What is the middle knife? Inquiring minds want to know.

Not fair….he’s not sharing!! I’m going to tell the teacher.Funny update on the two knives that were ordered from me recently for prizes at a memorial roping:

The sponsor that had ordered the knives and were donating them as prizes also had me build one for himself.

He also ordered a matching belt which I'm finishing off today. So Sunday the day after the roping I texted him and asked how the roping went. He said: "Great! I won the knives! LOL!" Well at least he'll have a new belt to wear his three knives on.
Hey............. That Becker doesn't have Orange scales on it......

Orange scales are on a BK9( too heavy for the 7 - balance was odd ).
