Fixed blades

ICU and 101st Airborne? I’m not up on his nomenclature, and I know he’s branded a POS, but he did make one hell of a great knife.

You ever wanna get rid of that one on the right, look me up.

Close. ICU or Air Assault & 82nd Airborne. The ICU is bad ass and very similar to AA - not sure which this one is. The 101 has that wasp shaped handle for heavy chopping.

Yep.. I’ve read some stuff about Mr Livesay - he’s a character for sure.

I actually sold that 82’nd on here in 2019 I think, finally tracked it down and the recent owner sent it home. I’ll absolutely let you know if it needs a home though.

Ahhhhhh, that’s right! I actually had an Air Assault wayyyy back in the day and it was a damn good knife. Dude who sent it to me at the time was f&cking dying from the flu so he made me promise to wash it and wipe it down with Lysol when I got it. Total bro move.

Got the 101 and 82nd confused too. I remember both of those now that you mentioned that wasp shape. Great stuff!

Back then I always wanted a Company Knife but they were double edged and I couldn’t have that in my area at the time.

Do something strange for a piece of change, if it's for a knife, does anyone have to know? Did it even happen? 🤣
Pfffft, I don’t work a pole too good. (That’s what she said?)

I have a set little pool of dough and knives that doesn’t interfere with the finances of anything else. It goes up, it goes down, sometimes it’s flush with cash, sometimes it’s flush with knives, sometimes it’s dry on both.

That came up right when I hit a dry skid. It happens.

Good thing is, here lately I’ve done a LOT of wheelin/dealin and finally got to a spot where I’m happy with everything, I’m not thinking about selling a damn thing, and I don’t want to buy anything.

Think I’m done with knives. I’m off to find the hobo forum and see what I need to ride the rails for a while.

I've been there many times, I started off with the standard broom stick and pillow case travel pack and worked my way up to shopping cart. The real issue is when you have to go number 2, one of the other hobos taking off with your cart. Other than that and the weather being a nuisance it's quite freeing.

I even have a book to interpret all the symbols and leave some behind to let a fellow know if the matron of the house is kind or not, if the food’s good, mean dogs, etc.

As this thread seems to like them big…

Overall length of this pig is just a tad over half a yard.
