With the release of "The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon - The Book of Carol" in 2023, I thought...no, HOPED...that Jerry would re-release the TGLB for another run. I have one that I acquired in "The Exchange" but would've loved to have gotten one NIB that I actually spec'd.


Alas, my hopes were dashed.

I think it was around 2020 when he released the Tgulb which was pretty close. I had one of those too. He also did a TG-1 Ganzaa that i scored my custom shop but it was a hand laminated g10 handle only deal and what you got was random.
Then recently the nano came out. Out of the 3, its the one i prefer.

I wanted, SO BADLY, to buy that one when it became available a few months back. Unfortunately, my finances/budget are not what they once were.

My Mom is dying a very slow death from Alzheimer's, and one-on-one/fulltime "memory care" is VERY expensive.



*Before anyone starts to feel bad for me/her/us, I just want to post that-that hostile little raisin (*Mom) gets THE MOST AMAZING care that anyone could hope for, still eats "Michelin Star" cuisine like a friggin" horse, and (*despite her condition) is still living her best life, considering her current condition. I can always try to score another TGLB but will only get ONE CHANCE at caring for Mom. Trust me, we're good.

Despite that, it's quite obvious that Jerry Busse doesn't like me very much and doesn't want me to have a black G10/"Comp finish" TGLB.

While I am getting my knife collection down in quantity I ended up getting this Jack Wolf FixEDC
I added a bobtail fob and glued in a piece of soft deer skin to make the sheath compress against the handle for better retention, the hidden lanyard pin only has room for very thin cordage, I used some 325 lb paracord

Sr101 was a game changer for me, took a screaming sharp edge so easy and had minor edge disalignment on frozen deer hind legs. Truly impressive, load bearing bones in hooved animals are a tough challenge.
