Really like that one!

Rehandled this Bolo for Brother Bill. He got it years ago when he was stationed in the Philippines. It was originally handled in water buffalo horn so that's what I used. I cleaned up the blade a lil too. It was in a very "hand forged" condition. Cleaned it up but left some of the hand forged there:

Then built a sheath for it:

Gave it back to him while at a teppan restaurant celebrating our daughter's birthday:

And poof he was gone:

Yep.

Also don't worry, I still have 4-5x more DMC Knives than Horsewright knives - I'll need 2 more years to catch up... 😛
I'm making more all the time. Built one with you in mind just now. A Rodeo dressed up like your Ranchero! Second row from the bottom on the right:

Yeah I didn't make some of these. They're all lined out to be assigned a slot in the box for sheath making.

Well if it were a contest: the world probably has a few thousand times more Horsewrights than DMCs....
Heck I'm retired, I only do 15-20 at a time these days! Seriously, I've lost count.

What state (or country) are you in with that much snow?
