  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Lots of "Firsts" this weekend....
1. First spa-day
For, a blade i did for someone.
Not sure how I feel about it? The before pictures are maybe for another post.... They Must hate me for returning my knife in that condition....ugh.
2. First hammer.
I found a hammer head a number of years ago. Recently I decided that I need a straightening hammer. I needed to make a handle, Ok I got that...and drill a 3/8" hole for the carbide. I'm a tool room machinist......but, I didn't know harmmers were That hard? I've seen people anneal them, but I had carbide drills. It was pretty tough, I barely drilled it. But I did.
3. First Grill Scraper.
A guy at work asked me to make one.
I used some cherry board that are over 30 years old as boards...air dried. Wow, they are Harder than oak!!! I m looking forward to making more scales from them.
I think that he has the Fanciest grill scraper on this side of the tracks....

-busy weekend.

I hope ALL of Bladeforums makes it through the storm that is South of us....Stay Safe!
