Definitely was.on my drool list as a teen in the late 80, early 90's... The Tom cat original too.I remember when those were somewhat available provided you had the funds.. early to mid 90’s - that was a grail. Bad ass knife then and now. Congrats on the pawn shop gold score( one of the SOG made knives that CAN actually take a beating and not break ).

Almost too thin and elastic for this job. Hard on the baton ... but great, great cutter. Still very sharp afterwards.
