Fixed blades

Got back from up North last weekend.
Spent 4 days sorting, burning and tossing garbage. Cleaning barns, cleaning garages. Very tired, very wiped out. Never burned so much stuff....burned out. Felt weird burning everything.

I used my Osage Beater alot, cutting boxes, and garbage. I thought I lost my 3v knife pattern I call C4. It's an older design of mine. I found it under a pile I was sorting.

Last pic is a neat little bright white "fairy" nymph insect. I haven't seen one in many years... I took a video, but don't know how to post them....

SET , Early M4 before he made the M4-6. 5.5 inch blade, 1/8 stock, A2 steel, green canvas and loveless bolts. That one definitely gets used.

That one looks good too. I like his handle shapes on these. I’d say the M4-6 is probably the favorite between blade shape and handle design. It would be nice if he had the capacity to produce more volume, but that tends to come with its own set of disadvantages, so I completely understand. Every now and then you just get lucky and get that “one” that ticks all the boxes 🤩

I believe some call them paper wasps but the insects actually resemble hornest. They are aggressive. Had a nest like that in the peak of my garage roof eave. Let's just say, a person can survive stepping off a 6ft step ladder when the hornet spray just pi$$es them off and they come after the can.

I was watching similar wasps nibbling on my stack of.lumber upstate for the.fibers to make their nests....
Bastids!!!🙄

I got what you need, wasps will never bother you again! 😆

Bald face hornets I think.....nasty buggers, think yellow jackets in black and white.....
Brake parts cleaner drops wasps and hornets right out of the air. It’s quicker than any bug spray I have tried, and it’s always on hand, not as ubiquitous a WD40, but not hard to find if you do any mechanical work.
I use Brake Kleen combined with a butane powered fireplace lighter.....mini-flame thrower, James Bond style....just make sure the red straw is on the nozzle.....

They weren't the pale faces!!! They were brown with yellow dangly legs and a stinger hanging out its ass like an elephants trunk😱........Yellow jackets normally nest underground!!!!!
