Very nice. Makes me hungry. I miss bread like this.

I posted about this in the Custom and Handmade section here, in case any of you want to read about it, but here’s the first photo I’ve taken of Nathan the Machinist Nathan the Machinist recently finished integral dagger:

This was machined from a single 10-1/2 pound block of steel, gang. I know that might sound easy, for the uninitiated, but I assure you that this is no mean feat.

These Architect Knives are comfortable to use except for the thumb grooves on the spine. They are really uncomfortable! I enlisted the assistance of Mr. J B Compound, a reliable friend and ally. Packing the grooves makes the knife less uncomfortable but still very handy. I may summon up the courage to build a little ramp!

I just sharpened these knives for the first time. The factory edge was a very consistent 25 dps or so, very useful and well done. I sharpened them at 25 dps, starting with a Wicked Edge 400 grit diamond stone and finishing with a Wicked Edge 600 grit diamond stone and three strokes per side on a 10 micron diamond-on-balsa strop. They now have a totally practical chainsaw of an edge that will shave hair or rip through rope or wood like a scalded ape. The bevels have a satin finish, with the scratch pattern still just visible to the naked eye.

Yes, indeed! The holster was on my hip when I took the pic. Otherwise, it would have been with the revolver.
Still using that holster for that Ruger?

I also get a lot of use from the pocket/boot top sheath. The clip is plenty strong. Pic of that one tomorrow!

I may have to hit you up for a flap holster for the full size Beretta PX4 Storm, too.
