Same here. But as I reduce my collection, I am going to be selling probably three. I still value them, but I would be happier if they found a home that could either put them to use or display them better.Out of all the knives over all of the years, I always had the hardest time parting with a Dawson
That just made me very happy. I stopped collecting for a while because of finances but lately I’ve decided I’d rather be happy now and worry less about the future. But not totallySame here. Trying to rediscover what I already have in my collection, and just appreciate new knives for their design and lines, without buying them. That just made me very happy. It’s a workhorse! My other one is orange and it rides in my truck box. This painted knife makes me Happy every time I see it....haha....it's my Favorite knife of yours!
I still chuckle every time I see that thing. Looks like a garden spade that won’t work as a garden spade.
Surprisingly..... It's sharp AF, hair popping sharp, as it's D2 and easy to tune. Edge won't last very long, decent heat treat but on the softer side. Really good for prepping bacon, soft stuff etc. but I won't baton with it. It's really more a convo piece than anything else. Not too big, I carry it IWB with Ulticlip.I still chuckle every time I see that thing. Looks like a garden spade that won’t work as a garden spade.
I’m so curious as to how it performs. Have you cut anything with it? It’s so ridiculous to me that it circles back around to being cool.![]()
Ohhhh, now you went and did it… That’s my weakness. I’m a Warhammer 40K player from waaaaay back! I started with an Imperial Guard army back around ‘93-ish. I think we were playing 2nd edition then moved to 3rd. Then changed my army to Chaos marines/daemons.Surprisingly..... It's sharp AF, hair popping sharp, as it's D2 and easy to tune. Love the W40K vibe![]()
BootKnifeFan has no boot knife?Fixed blades? The only one that I own is a Cold Steel "Master Hunter" that was manufactured in Japan over 20 years ago. 4.5" VG1 san mai stainless steel blade, kydex sheath and kraton handle. It has seen plenty of use, but is still razor-sharp and performing well.
