That knife looked great. It earned the marks it carried. Nothing wrong with a blade showing evidence of use.Yesterday, I posted my little A.S.E.K. in the "Knives & Guns" thread and couldn't help but thinking that it looked like absolute sh!t. Man, this little "Crewman's knife" followed me all over "Southwest Asia" (*Iraq) and Palestine.
I used to use it break-up pallets for the grill, when our other Teams would fly-in some "U.S.A." beef. (*As long as I was careful to not hit any nails, the phosphate finish would clean-up very nicely.)
Anyhow, after posting it yesterday, I gave it a "Ballistol" bath...steel, rubber, and all.
Just look at it! It's more beautiful than the day that I received it!...

Ah, it's aesthetic as far as I can tell. Tiny fuller equals very little weight reduction so no clue. But it is comfy in hand and very well done
