I love this size blade. I went through a phase like 6 or 7 years ago where I had like 20 fixed blades just in this size.

I’ve basically got two lifetime supplies of 5 inch bladed drop points ( I use about 3 of them ).

Well, I blame bladeforums. Coincidentally it was the becker bk2 fixed blade that brought me here. I've always favored fixed blades.

If you are super serious, think about what you possibly want?
I'm about to pick out and order my steel for fall and winter's knives.

I normally have hardened blanks that I cut out previously in shapes I like.
But if someone wants something very specific that I cant rework one of my blanks to, then it's best for me to know ahead of time.....

Otherwise I plan on ordering a bunch of 3V, AEB-L or Nitro, prob some 15n20 for Big Choppers, and hopefully I try Wolfsram..... just because! Also I want to try A8Mod (just because) haha
