Very cool, who made this one?
Tell the truth mate, i honestly don't know. The blade was bought off a UK knife forum i'm on, and the guy who sold it can only guess it was by a French maker. It was to nice for me to modify (as i often do) so i just dyed the handle dark brown, added the brass bead, and made a sheath to match.

My very first Microtech
Just came in this evening.
It's the SOCOM Alpha.
Blade length is a little over 5" of Bohler M390
Came very sharp and nicely sharpened at that. Ergos are very nice. Hand locks right in, in any grip. The Kydex Sheath is the best I've had actually. Very quiet and smooth on the draw. Overall, I really like this SOCOM Alpha.

Beautiful knife. I’ve been eyeballing the Alpha Mini Signature Series (and the LionSteel M4). Haven’t gotten a new fixed blade in a while and I’m getting the itch.
