Digging through my phone for old pics.... I'm 99% sure these are them.

I don't think thats locust, locust leaves are more oval shaped with smooth edges. That looks more like some variety of sumac.

Interesting... there are sumac there, but I thought this was different. idk how many varieties there are?

And how big do they get?
This came from a tree with a close to 8" diameter trunk.

I cut down so many trees and branches that day, I might of got things mixed up? :/

They can get pretty big. I've cut down a lot of them near 20' tall, and 8" is about right.
This is a small staghorn sumac I snapped a pic of today on the trail
