Good lookin dog jonny!

Mine is admittedly far too big haha, and nowhere near enough time to use them all!

I'll have to try that. I know it seemed to work better in warmer weather so that makes sense.
Maybe a week ago I stripped a busse, the first side I applied citri strip and let it sit for maybe 15min and started scraping. Was tough to scrape the coating off. Applied more citri strip and repeated. Side 2 I pointed a space heater at the blade with citri strip applied. Waited maybe 10min and the coating came right off with no effort. Heat definitely helps.

Good to know ... I have another BK15 I want to strip sometime soon.

I love fixed blades probably twice as much as folders.

The above is most of the uncoated carbon steel in the house. Some of these belong to my wife and son. Got them all together for a mass application of drying oil (pure Tung oil mixed with pure orange solvent) to blades and natural handles. Will be writing it up soon in the maintenance section but I’m liking the results so far…

(The Swamp Rat Desert Storm Fighter on the lower left has a coated blade but the spine and perimeter of the handle are uncoated because I enlarged the quillion/guard. This removed the coating in that area so I removed the rest around the perimeter for aesthetics…)

Edit to add: I’m also extremely excited to soon be adding this Siegle Chopper/Fighter to the uncoated carbon steel stable. Should arrive on Friday!
