Is that a blower/fan by the fire place??? Great idea since so much heat is wasted in a fireplace!!! Can you take a picture from a different angle please or two!!!! More is always better with everything I find. Thanx!

Sure, there is a cast iron insert in the fireplace that gets warmed by the fire/coals, the little blower is inserted into one of the leg openings on the cast iron insert. It blows air through the cast iron insert and out the other "leg" of the insert. Circulating the air all through the very hot cast iron before blowing that hot air into the room. (Cast iron insert is hollow)

There is also a blower built in to the fireplace that blowes air from the vented black panel above the fire place.

Incidently, the hills and canyon in the background is the scene of the recent Colorado Fire, where that knife waited in the post office until we got home! Mountains in focus.

Thanks to Bladeforums.com I learn how to make them . I haven't counted how many I have for now , but probably they are more than a hundred so far.

Do I really want to use this beauty?! Damn it is pristine. Thinner than the fhfg/ratmandu cousins and more contoured handle, amazingly light compared to them as well.

Currently stripping the mega mandu on the left by hand with sandpaper, not done yet, patina to follow.

The green and black g10 fhfg is my daily. But the new infidu may win that spot.
