Unbuffed black canvas that I dyed dark black with fiebings pro dye. That was before the double black canvas was offered, and I still don't have any of that. I'd like to check it out.

Thank you. Those are the only FK2 scales I've tried, and I'm pleased with how they came out. I dyed some original FK scales that were no Bueno lol.

I've been keeping up on your outings elsewhere, I'm betting you'll thump something yet bud We have some good bull tags for rifle this year. First one is filled so some of the pressure if off. Two more to go.

I can't imagine not popping a Doe at very least this year, but it's hunting, you never know. I really wanted to hunt the past 4 evenings, but it's just been too dang windy here! Not worth the effort, the wind swirls way too much out on that property where I hunt, and I've learned it's too easy for them to bust you.

Not me! I always carry a sturdy folder too, mostly Spydies which have that 90*. I also have fire steel striker in my kit. I do get the logic behind wanting it all in one knife, but for me at least, that was not much of a concern/want.

I'm actually in the same boat. Have mostly spyderco folders but my firesteel itself has a striker attached to it via some cord.

Just hope I don't get any FOMO since now is the time to get any customization to the fk2...

Thanks to mb> for parting with his FK2 so I could rejoin the CPK Club.

And thanks to @Jo the Machinist for the titanium handle screws which look amazing on the buffed burlap.

I can't wait to get my leather sheath from @Sagewood gear to match my Leatherman Wave pouch.
