Flat-Cap Jigging!!

Mine came today. It’s my first of this pattern and everything about it is great. I love the handle colors and the jigging. I’ll be carrying this one a lot. Job well done, Charlie!

Well Charlie, waynorth waynorth , you did it again! And the dust has not even settled from your City Stock. You add the special touches that make already great GEC knives something truly unique and wonderful. For the ages! Congratulations! We are so fortunate to be collecting during this era of your SFO’s.

Has GEC changed their finishing process on the City Stock and this knife? I ask because the bone looks and feels especially smooth and polished on both of these knives.

I hope Bill Howard continues to experiment with the jigging he used on your lamb. I especially like the ones that do not have well defined herringbone lines. I realize you were going for that type of pattern, but the ones that don’t have a well defined pattern look amazing to me. They have the beautiful random look of vintage knives which I believe GEC has a really hard time replicating. They are great at tire tread type patterns, but their attempts at random jigging often looks like a beaver was chewing on the bone or like they gave middle school kids dremel tools and let them have at it.

Whatever Bill did to these, they do feel great in hand!! It's almost like a soft buff!! I'll ask him if he'll spill the beans!!

I haven’t been this excited about a new knife in a good while. Thrilled would be an understatement. Charlie, I knew this knife was full of soul when I first saw the picture shared of one of the handles. To get to handle one in person is a different story entirely. I’m proud and grateful for these two. Hats off to you and GEC!! What a timeless pair of Waynorth’s!!! 😁

Received a nice Slip today for my FC Lambfoot!! Plus a card holder!! Both work perfectly!! Thanks, so much, Jeremy!!!View attachment 2776656@sbh06
Ideally, a slip holds a knife in any position, until you squeeze it!!
Absolutely agree. Jeremy’s work is top-notch. And he is a fantastic gentleman and an asset to the porch. No doubt!
