Can you put me down for one also. Where can I get a neat bevel guide like that, or a knifemaking bevel guide in general? Thanks.

E-mail sent.

The cost of the jig, with a set of marked degree wedges will be 35.00
It is really great for false edges, I cut the time needed to turn out a nice swedge by 75 %. using the bubble.

Thanks, Carl; see you this weekend.

The cost will be 35.00 as stated above; little instruction is needed, other than setting the bubble at the desired degree and moving the bubble from side to side on the blade blank.
You will find it improves your grinding in a hurry.

Fred,

I would like three as soon as you can get them to me,

I would also like to offer some advice, if I may. I would not buy three if yoiu priced them at $135, but I would buy 2. You would find yoiurself selling 75-80% as many and make a lot more money. No one is more sensitive to price than I. For your own benefit, give this some thought.

I'm interested to see the video Fred, cuz I haven't wrapped my mind around it yet.

So do you look at the bubble while grinding?

This thread is an interesting display of knifemakers' oddities... grinding on a tool rest or with a jig is "cheating" but the list for a bubble helper is a mile long. :) Like watching people at the airport.... can't help but enjoy taking it all in! :)

Best of luck with it Fred :)

Put me on your list.

Send me your name and mailing address, along with your forums name and I will put you on the contact list and keep you posted on delivery.

I appreciate your input, A.G and do believe in giving price reductions to people wanted to purchase more than one item. I do this at shows when someone wishes to purchase more than one knife.
At present, I am manufacturing the jig in my small shop, so they are not being turned out in great quantities. I have a hundred orders to fill at present and want everyone who has requested a jig to get one.
I will gladly work with you on purchasing multiple jigs after I fill the orders I have on hand.
If you send me your mailing address I will add you to the contact list.

Nick,

We are making progress on the video; its a couple of weeks out yet.

The Bubble Jig does have a learning curve to it; but it is a short one.

You do reference the bubble while grinding, but only in a peripheral manner.

I used the jig yesterday on a large S guard, for a fighter. Wanting to get and exact bevel on both ends of the guard I attached the jig to the guard and used it to grind the four sides of the S'es at the exact same angle relative to each other.
It's a handy little shop tool and has many uses.

I appreciate your good wishes for my success, Fred
