Bradley,

Thats great:thumbup:
I feel in some small way I have saved you money; fewer damnits per hour means less money in the swear jar.:)

Regards, Fred

I better get to work setting up my shop. I have some 1095 and 1084 on the way I ordered as soon as I ordered your bubble jig Fred. I feel making knives gives me an artistic outlet that I really enjoy. I do believe your jig will help bring my grinding skill up to par with where I want to be.

Looking forward to hiding out in my garage and get to making some knives! Thanks Fred your the man!

Jason,

Sounds like you are getting ready to make some sparks.
You will be pleasantly surprised when you get to use the jig and if you have questions you know where to find me.

I may have been a little over zealous with my depiction of Grand Rapids.:D

First one ready for heat treat,a "pocket chopper" with a 3" blade made from Aldo's 1084 ( I'll get some pics when it's done). Your bubble jig rocks! After a couple more small-medium blades I have a 2"x18"x1/4" piece of 1095 I want to make into a real chopper. A bit more practice first though, but with the jig it is much easier, no guess work. Any considerations when doing a 2" wide blade?

GR is OK, I have a big yard and a nice place to make my knives and longbows but it's still a city. I dream of someday living on a beautiful spread like yours Fred.

You rock Fred!

Morning Fred, Afterspending most of yesterday destroying a perfectly good piece of O-1 I am ready for a complete system. Shipping is what ($4.95?)? Let me know and I will shoot paypal your way.

Morning Jason,

The flat grind on the 2" chopper will take the 2 or 2 1/2 degree setting.
Happy to hear the jig is working for you.
