Flat Ground Folders?

Thanks for the welcome ! I visit fairly often ,don't post alot though. The Kershaw folks handle the questions and info quite well. I'm pleased you guys like the knives and love to hear about what you'd like to see us do in the future. As well as feedback on our current offerings.

Yeah, but it is nice to hear from the big guy himself on occasion.
That Thomas guy....he's kinda lame on the knife info. ;) :D

Good to see you in here Ken.

Hello again Ken,

I am a member of the Ken Onion forum too. I wish it got more traffic. As you know, I've been trying to get Thomas and Kershaw to develop a Kershaw TABOO in the same vein as the Dead Sexy/Shallot collaboration. Can you help me convince Thomas that they would sell BILLIONS of the Taboo?!

The first few knives Kershaw made of the Shallot were hollow ground however we/ they decided to go flat ground with it . So when I posted that they were hollow ground, that changed.Sorry for the confusion!

Hi Ken, It's really an honor to have you around...I love your knives, especially the Taboo! Perhaps someday when I hit the lottery, I can get one!

I wasn't calling you out Ken, I just wanted it to be clear for others. Please stick around for a while and make fun of offsetlover with the rest of us! :D

the rest of us. :D

Man,
Why the heck didn't you guys tell me Ken was posting in this thread??!!! What good are all of you if you don't keep me up to date??

Ken, I've been a fan for quite a few years now. Thanks for all of your designs and what you've done for the Kershaw name. We all love your knives and it really is great to be able to read posts from you. Guys who are married with kids and have three jobs like myself rarely get to make it the shows, and so it's a real treat to see you on the forums.

Cheers,
Jon

Not to be argumentative Ken, but in this video(http://www.guntalk.tv/gtv/library.php?category=47), you said the Shallot is hollow-ground. Based on the pics and video, I think it's hollow-ground.

Will the Kershaw TABOO be flat-ground?
;):D

STOP POSTING PICTURES OF THAT KNIFE!! I'm in debt as is!

I'm refusing to find out how much it costs because if I know I'll find out a way to get one, and I really need to spend my money on paying off the car shop and the bank.

A custom Taboo would probably cost $3,000. But only if you could find someone to part with one!

OOPS, did I post another Taboo pic?

I want a Melee!!!

It's the one on top for any that don't know.

that copper/black one is killing me man!

Yeah...that's my fav, too, followed by the dark gray and burgundy...

Kershaw needs to do this design, but it would probably be toned down a little from these...I'm really interested in seeing what they would do with this design...:D

Ray :)

Yeah, if I ever won the lottery I'd be all over a Dead Sexy from Ken....

They are such amazingly awesome cutting tools!!!

+1 for a Ken Onion/ Kershaw made TABOO !

Ken, I love your designs.

They are some of the BEST looking knives out there !

I know we'd all love to see you post here more often if you have the time.
