Flicking knives all over the place, "Am I the only one that does this?"

Ok I was just talking with someone from the forums and I was like "My neighbors must think I'm crazy. I'm always walking up and down the street with my dog, flicking knives. Am I the only one that does that?" "I DO THE SAME THING!"

LOL!! My neighbors must indeed think I'm crazy cuz I'm always walking around with the dog flicking my newest knife. OK I have no idea if there's a thread or anything else for this,

But post the weird places that you flick your knives! I'm looking for some good laughs :P



Edit: but just to clarify I don't go around flashing my knives at people or anything at all. I walk my dog in a rather secluded wood path, and only when no one is usually around will I flick my knives.
IN NO WAY WOULD I RECOMMEND/ENDORSE FLICKING YOUR KNIVES IN FRONT OF PEOPLE IN PUBLIC. that is probably just asking fo' trouble. That said, enjoy the forum and lets camaraderate on our knife nuttyness. :P

I tend to "worry bead" my knives when I am at home or on my property. I don't like attracting unnecessary attention to myself otherwise.
 
I flick my knives all of the time when I'm outside walking around, and wonder if they neighbors think I'm nuts.
 
I try not to do it outside haha (my neighbors are a little touchy) but when I walk around the house you can here the knife open "click" the knife close "click" and repeat:thumbup:
 
I do it too. My kids yell at me if we're at the grocery store or some public place. Half the time I don't even notice I doing it.

Maybe... There is another post by a fella who says he likes to do this also, but tries NOT to draw too much attention to himself. I suppose your neighbors would liken your habit to twirling a pistol while you're walking down the street. I think that many of this forum will flick in front of the tv or whatever. I don't care what you do...until someone in your town tries to bring it up in the town council to make it "illegal" and THEN it affects my liberty also.
I legally carry a concealed handgun, but I take special pains NOT to flash it around to anybody...
 
My wife thinks I am crazy. I set a knife or two on my nightstand to flick and molest until we go to bed lol

I flick knives while in traffic and when I am on the phone with clients at work. I am waiting for the day I hear the familiar click in the background from one of my clients who mint be a fellow knife nut

Do they ever ask, "what the hell is that click in the background"?
 
It's honestly become my nervous tick... drives my friends crazy when we're just hanging out watching TV or something.
 
It used to drive my ex-wife crazy! "All I hear is that click, clack!" Heh, heh. I never stopped. Still haven't. I'd rather have my knives then that witch any day of the week, though!!!!
 
I flick my knives all day long lol.

Whether at home, work, or walking around.

I'm always flick my knives!!

THIS. My sister chastises me all of the time for it, but honestly it feels like I can't even control it anymore. I'm always occupying my hands playing with something, either my knife or my pen (when I'm in public). I'm very self conscious about taking my knife out in public so I avoid doing so, but many a boring hour were occupied at my old job by playing with my knives.

True, very true. I don't go around flicking right in front of people either. There's a lake around our house that nobody is ever walking around, and I'll do it there. So only the people watching from a house (if any) would see me. I certainly don't want to offend anyone, and like you said have my knives restricted :(
