Flip-It: The Ultimate Sheeple-Friendly Folder?

Sheeple knife. NEVER trust it to use it though. A boker top Lock II auto with red-bone. Women and tree-huggers seem to find them "dainty":barf:

I own NO sheeple friendly folders....I have made it a first item of business...even tho I kinda liked the littel buzzard I got rid of the one folder I had that might have been called sheeple friendly.

If they dont like my knives screw 'em!!

Flip-It: The Ultimate Sheeple-Friendly Folder?
Well, ultimate POS perhaps. ;) Seriously though, I have never had any bad experiences using any small folder such as my Buck 709 or 526. Likewise with the small-to-medium sized SAKs.

Dexter… you just pulling out one Sifu is sheeple friendly.

I carry a pink cricket with a couple of dollars in the clip never gets a second look.

The one I carry that always gets comments is my gray Matriarch. Usually gets this look  with an ”Oh S**t” thrown in.

Heh, true...but I want to be packin' on each side for balance...counterweights! :p

Wait till you pull out a Civ, then they'd be picking their eyeballs up off the floor :)

Usually SAK's, multi-tools, and cute, little, and/or pretty knives go over best with sheeple.

How does the LCC rate among the sheeple?

The Flip-It looks sheeple friendly, and has the advantage of not looking like a knife when closed, but that is the exact knife I got caught with in eighth grade and thrown out of school for. I have another one I keep laying around just for nostalgia. :)

Did you have to get one of those state-sponsored tutors when you got thrown out, Medusa?

I have several of those little flip-its.. Definitley a POS, but it's definitley sheeple friendly... Even my mom likes it! She even took one of them. She doesn't like my knife collection too much otherwise. One thing about ALL of them I have bought(about 6) have a big burr on the back of the blade. Comes off after a few swipes over a sharpener, but it is a bit annoying. And some of them are damn hard to open! A little sticky I guess. Can't expect much for that price...

The office - friendly knives I carry are the BM 705 (most frequently), the BM 940 and the Camillus EDC.

BTW, I can probably guess, but I might as well ask: Razoredj, what's a hoplophobe?

Hoplophobe (noun): A person possessing an irrational fear of weapons, especially firearms and knives. The term was coined by legendary firearms instructor Jeff Cooper, who derived it from hoplite (a heavily armed foot soldier of ancient Greece).

LOL! :)

Ole Jeff Cooper always had a unique sense of humor, that's why I enjoy reading his commentaries in my monthly issue of Guns & Ammo...

For a time, i had a bm850 which is my vote for the most harmless looking knife. With that white micarta and rainbow anodized bolsters it looked like a fashion statement.

With the reactions I get with just the Matriarch if I pulled A Civi I'd need to use my EMT skills cause they'd probibly have a heart attack.

Don't need the work that bad.

Already been mentioned but I'll agree: my pink cricket. Got a matching one for my girlfriend too: she carries it clipped to her bra. What a wonderful woman!

Just saw me a pic of the Spyderco Civlian and Matriarch, I can understand how that could get people's attention...

Also while perusing through the Microtech site I noticed that the Kestrel would also probably get very negative reactions from the general population, especially the hoplophobes :)
