Flipper 7

It is the first and only, but the word "exclusive" has been said on both bladehq's end as well as EKI's, so it might stay the only venue. I doubt it will be the only time available. If it sells, they will make more. Why wouldn't they.
I ordered mine as soon as I got the in-stock email.

I like it ! If it's as smooth as my Sheepdog it's a keeper and I'm sure it is .

I think the flipper looks awful on this knife but it does make a nice finger guard. I picked up a stonewashed one and hopefully I like it enough to make it a regular carry.

I like the concept, but I think I'd like it a bit more with the "A" blade (as much as I love EKI's tanto profile). And maybe it's the flipper that's throwing me off, but the blade does not look quite as "low" as the standard 7 series. BUT... if it was a Super 7, I think would have jumped on this. Also, like Rolf, I think I generally prefer 154cm to S35vn.

But I have to say, I'm a little jealous of you guys, and hope I'm not going to kick myself later--post pics and thoughts when those nasty things arrive!

Guess it's just a matter of taste but I like the looks lol plus it does grow on you . Also I have a few Emerson/ZT collaborations so I'm use to them .When my Sheepdog is out of my pocket and the wave wasn't used I finds myself always using the flipper instead of the thumb disc for some reason . The flipper does make a outstanding finger guard like you mentioned !

Yes, Emerson knife models grow on me also.
I never thought I'd own a Commander and I really like the A-100 and now the Bulldog.

I'm not a fan of flippers anyway, but that has to be the ugliest knife I've ever seen. Seem like the flipper takes up handle space also.

LoL Don't hold back tell us how you really feel [emoji14]
I think it's pretty dam sexy [emoji106]🏻

One thing that I noticed right away with the flipper 7 is that it has a much stronger detent than my sheepdog which improves flipping performance significantly.

That's great ! I think I got lucky with my sheepdog it has a pretty strong detent and fires hard . Wasn't expecting that so it was a nice surprise [emoji106]🏻
