Florist, Pruning and Grafting Knives

Thanks for the nice words, Gev and Will!!
I appreciate the "likes" that everyone uses now, but I try to write my appreciation of nice posts - like you two do!!

Lot of beautiful gardeners knives everyone.
Here's catalog cuts showing some of the various gardening and floral knives made by Wostenholm. I believe it is in the 30's. I'm looking for the farmers jack, in any condition, in the middle of the flat blade side of the cuts.
There's even the multi- purpose lambs foot.

There was a time when no one wanted these odd knives at all, and prices were very low!
They are a little more self-respecting now. In my latest clean-up frenzy, I came across my cigar-box full!
Budders with spuds. Note some "integral" spuds at the bottom.

In the same cigar box, an alternate approach to the Budding and grafting knife, the single-spring knife with secondary-length Sheepfoot and a Spey blades, with the spey doubling as a Spud in most circumstances.
The Case is very rare - only one I've seen, I think.

Beautiful Charlie! I've been drawn to the"spuds"
Must have some gardner in my blood somewhere.:D

Last but not least, from the same box, I am sure these (top two) one-blades were intended for the horticultural trades. A wood handle is not optimum for "speying" IMO.
And in keeping with our mini-tradition here, today's Turquoise ring!!

The "spuds" are interesting tools, I agree! Although I have been a sporadic gardener, it is quite rewarding to pick and eat home-grown fruit and veggies, Dave!!

Who doesn't like potatoes!
Charlie ,I'm thankful that the french ivory celluloid seems pretty stable, knock on my head.
I've always admired the beauty of the bone on that NYK integral, it's a lovely thing.
