Florist, Pruning and Grafting Knives

Last but not least, from the same box, I am sure these (top two) one-blades were intended for the horticultural trades. A wood handle is not optimum for "speying" IMO.
And in keeping with our mini-tradition here, today's Turquoise ring!!

Wow Charlie!!! all so nice, I love those french Ivory S.C.C. I used to have one just like that/them, same condition and all. Now that said about those S.C.C's that black CASE is my favorite:cool::cool::cool::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

I had shown this picture once before in another thread, but thought it would fit in nicely here with so many other great and unusual pruning models.

Fantastic display and knives, Herder ! Thanks for sharing.

Lot of beautiful gardeners knives everyone.
Here's catalog cuts showing some of the various gardening and floral knives made by Wostenholm. I believe it is in the 30's. I'm looking for the farmers jack, in any condition, in the middle of the flat blade side of the cuts.
There's even the multi- purpose lambs foot.

Marvelous contribution, Lyle !! Love the cuts
There was a time when no one wanted these odd knives at all, and prices were very low!
They are a little more self-respecting now. In my latest clean-up frenzy, I came across my cigar-box full!
Budders with spuds. Note some "integral" spuds at the bottom.

waynorth waynorth Charlie, you have such an amazing collection of knives. Always drool worthy. I’m a fan of old Native American and southwestern jewelry myself and have a small collection. Are those turquoise in your rings morenci? Kingman? Real nice!

I got this one directly from A G Russell hisself at Blade show a few years back

It's great that you got to meet A.G. before he passed away, JODY!!

Here is an interesting horticultural knife. It has an unusual assortment of blades, including a folding spud!! Nice stag handles, and the blades are stamped with a "crown over a heart", so probably from England?!?!
