Fluggin SNOW!!!!

Ha, I just got home. I had to chip my truck out of the ice casing. It's raining slushpuppy. Took me almost an hour longer to get home. Not so much because of the ice, slush and snow but because of the car that was in front of me that decided that 25 was the speed limit. Oh well. Home safe and sound.
Since it's supposed to continue it should be a fun commute to work tomorrow.

Well, 3"-4" so far and no sign of stopping. Gotta love Ahia weather........ :barf: :barf: :barf:

Anyone get any good news yet???

Ho Ho Ho....
.
Wuss............
Try living in Cleveland.
now that's snow
(I don't complain because because the roads one hour north of me are always about 5 times as bad)

Actually I love it. This stuff keeps the wimps at home, and I can drive normally....

We got 10" of snow and rain/ice combined.

Gettin ready to go out and shovel my way to a heart attack...LOL

So.....Do you think it will snow?? Or better yet, do you think it will stop :D

Amazing, 1/2 inch of ice, 4 of snow, and 2 of icey snow.

But the best are the pinheads at the end of the street who insist on parking cars on both sides of the street so the city snow plows can't get down our court .

Many of us on the street talked to them about it last year, but, being pinheads, didn't seem to sink in.

Anyone have a big forklift or frontend loader????

We have about 6-9" of snow, drifting in some spots to about 18" :D It nice stuff, I spent half the day shoveling my house, and at my Grandpa's. I cant wait to go skiing. :D

What's the weather like down in your part of the world Ian?? Do you get any snow there for your winter??
Bill W

10 inches Mike? That's all you guys got? I have been shoveling for two days! The final total here was 22 inches!! Temp tonight will be -1.

Oh well, at least John (my 6yr old) is excited. Santa's sleigh moves better with all of this snow. ;)

We're expecting mid 50's by next week. :D

Hi Bill,
No, we don’t get it here at all, generally there’s some on the mountain ranges to the north of me in the dead of winter.

I’ve seen snow a few times, but not in the amounts that you get in the US.
My wife has never seen it at all.
We were going to the snow fields down south this year for a look, but never made it. :D
Ian.

Until someone else from Duluth chimes in, I will continue to think you are all winter wussies ;) . I've had drifts up to the windows in my split level house and experienced cold that would make and eskimo weep. Man, I am soooooooo tough! :D

Well we lost power due to the apparently millions of trees the ice took down. We lost it the Wednesday night before Christmas. Just came back on today.
Sent a wonderful power surge through the house when the tree hit the transformer. Fried my computer, set my TV on fire, blew out countless lightbulbs and a couple of cordless phones bit it. It's gonna be a week to find out what all is toast.
INFI breaks ice nicely. My NO-E allowed me entrance to the garage so I could still get to work.
I'm thankful for home owners insurance.

Glad you're safe... As for the T.V. blowing up:

SWEEEEEEEEEEET!!! That would be freaking awesome  :D

Hope all goes well with the insurance.

Well I just finished fixing my computer. Seems to be alright. Speaker power adapter is toast. I keep finding things that don't work as I've been going through the house this weekend.
Strange that all that snow is gone and it's like 50 outside.
Ohio weather is nuts.
