i'll do my best although my photographic skills are far less than impressive hehe... plus my apartment is more like a garage and it'll be difficult to find a well lit, clean background... perhaps i'll attempt to shoot a couple of pics outside instead then and bolt the camera to my wheelchair's armrest to ensure good focus... it'll likely take a while before i'll have my blade... i'll start another thread with any photos i'll manage to shoot so it'll be easier for you and others to find....

YESSSSSSSSSS!!!.... i just spoke with lexi and indeed, not only is it possible to order the tglb in 'cf' but it's also sans extra charge... i was able to still alter my order and now i have a competition finish tglb coming to me... btw, i get now all the swooning and ooh/aaahs over the busse girls hehe... lexi was a true doll and a darlin' to me over the phone...

not being familiar with the way busse operates, i've just assumed that once i've placed my order i've become just another paying d*ckhead and no altering of order is possible.... well, ya'll know the formula for 'ass-u-me' i'm sure so there ya go....

if i was an active operator in some spec-op outfit, requiring max stealth from my eqpmt, i'd quite likely be into all these space-age coating of blades, etc, which have become so prevalent as of some time ago... nearly or virtually standard in fact on certain 'real' knife makers' product... but i'm not and i enjoy the inherent beauty of steel as it is so i'm really not into any coatings....don't need to worry about reflections, et al... i figured it'll be my first busse infi blade so wth, i'll get it coated as it is offered but i wasn't as happy about that order as i am now, knowing that i'll now have a kickass blade sans coating and in fact in my preferred 'rough' competition finish that'll be factory spec...

ha!!....looks like it took you 2 whole years, going by your 'join date' status, and it's way overdue... you''ve finally given a bunch of dudes on busse forum [myself included] another good reason to log onto here more often hehe... it's a pleasure to be able to put that lovely voice and personality to such a pretty face at last... and that smile is pure heaven... for those who aren't able to meet you and the busse tribe in person at blade shows and other such gigs, like me, that lovely photo will make us dream of sweet lexi.... hmmm, and perhaps want to order more blades just so we can say hi hahaha....

Any way, I went ahead and changed my knife to the CF with black canvas micarta handle. I had the black coating with black canvas micarta before. I was thinking about changing it when I read that post I told you about, but after reading your post, you motivated me to make the change. You really made it sound good! You're right man, Lexi was a real sweet heart. I can't wait to get that TGLB in rough infi! The CF blades are supposed to be super sharp too.

cool man, i've yet to actually see the cf finish in person [as opposed to photos] and thus find out first hand its practical application but it seems to me as the best finish for a blade that'll actually be used hard and for a long time... i also find it the most attractive for a 'user' blade... and it'll be less common as a plus if one's into the rare factor.... if i had my choice [and i very well might based on this order] i'd like to have all my subsequent future busse blades in cf finish... hopefully you won't have any regrets since it seems that my choice have influenced yours as well hehe....
