hmm. *very* heavily influenced, if not the original. not that there's anything wrong with that, mind you... I had a 630 for years and often thought about what it would be like to have an INFI blade.
It isn't a 630 but the influence has no problem with it (considers it a compliment). Seems to be the general attitude amongst the community of good guys.
The conversion maker assured me he spoke to everyone who could remotely be concerned long before mine were made and was told no worries (not a quote). His reputation is too good to have been BS'ing me. Sheaths get made for knives, he made handles. This is the second set he has done for me and we conference called the designer / maker of the first set (not Busse blades) because we were actually executing his exact frame "design" in titanium. I / we offered to pay a fee and he flatly declined, stating he thought it was a compliment and refused to take anything. They got stolen from my vehicle a year later!
