Folder for when I don't feel like carrying a knife?

I have a kershaw vapor. Its a light knife, liner lock and aus8 steel. It has no blade wobble and a clip. I can carry that thing even in my underwear. I like it. Just my thoughts.

A Leek is about the same size as the Native - but an S30V or Damascus Leek, like I got Monday, is above your limit. The lighter weight FRN S30V Native, available at Wally World for <$40, is a hard act to follow. Of course, for <3" blade, the Scallion is great - if heavier than the Native. Check out Wally World...

When I walk the neighborhood, that Native is my new best friend in my gym shorts. When it gets colder, and regular shorts are required, I may go back to a Buck 110 - and/or a S&W 642 (5-shot .38).
