Folder question

I know this is the Busse forum, but i didnt want to post this and get a bunch of amateur responders (how snobby :foot:)!! I wanna here from the connoisseurs of knives.

I know there was a thread a while back about what you Hogs carried to accompany your busses.

If someone could either rehash that thread or if you could chime in on the top of the line folders out there i would appreciate the advice

I very rarely carry any folder that isn't made by Spyderco. Then again, I use my folders to slice stuff, not as prybars.

What is your budget? I carry knives valued from $200 - $1500 daily. What other features are you looking for, flippers (my favorite), assisted, autos, slip joints, big, small, fancy, plain, tactical? Give us a little more information on what you would like of need and we can help you out better.

I either carry my SMF or my Spyderco Rock Lobster. The Spydie gets more pocket time, by far. Also have my Ritter griptilian, and ZT0301 which get thrown in the mix sometimes.

I carry one of these Hinderer XM-18's...

...And a simple Fireman's SAK whenever I leave the house.

SmF CC with 30 Degree Polished edge.
 
Benchmade 950, 950-1 or rukus. I really like the strength of the AXIS lock.

I carry xm-18 with a flipper.
The flipper acts as a really great hand guard.
My ONLY complaint is the area where the index finger groove is bites a little when you gotta choke the handle extremely tight.
The really cool thing about a xm-18 is you can loosen the bolt to where the blade pretty much falls out, and it still has NO side to side play or wiggle. ( I don't recommend carrying it that way though, it came open in my back pocket once )
 
Been carrying my Yuna eq II the last week or so. I also carry a small slipjoint daily.

I also use my spuderco para and BM 710 regularily. The sebenza sees a lot of pocket time as well
 
The Hinderer is by far my favorite flavor of the month!!!!!

ZT-350 for me along with a Superknife 2 and a Leatherman Wave on any given work day. I want another Mini Rukus for an edc when I'm not working.

I EDC a Hinderer XM-18, without the flipper.

my beater/backpack folder is a BM-630/Skirmish.

I love the Sebenza and the Umnumzaan by Chris Reeve.

and I like a few Spiderco blades, but don't have any anymore.
 
Spyderco Salt 1, PE. A bit smaller than the Delica. Completely rust proof, but not an auto.

BTW, Delica sized H1 is Pacific Salt, and I just happen to be really (really) craving an SE Pacific Salt.
 
OMG, those Hinderers make me cry.:o
do you have ANY idea how to hunt down one? (sorry for the OT.)
I carry a BM 710 or a SAK...
