  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Folder

I'm wishing for the folder to have the lock with the backup pin featured in the patent application with a 5" long, .25" thick INFI blade. If it's going to be a Busse folder, shouldn't it be big and tough?

heres some I had that I sold to finance my Busse's

Have you ever met Jerry Busse in person?

Solid is the word I would use.

He is solid. His word is solid. His fixed blades are solid.

His folder will be solid.

can't wait......

.

Not sure the correct name for it, but you know the thumb ramp on the spine of many folders now days? The one on my Manix is chewing up my pant pockets something fierce. Anyone else have this problem? For that reason, and that reason alone, I hope Busse's folder doesn't have that ramp.

Also curious how many would want a choil on their

BUSSE FOLDER

I'd prefer one since it would allow more blade control. Once the blade gets into the 4" or 4+" range, a folder is a little unwieldy for detailed work. Of course there is also the benefit of a stronger blade, albeit at the loss of sharpened edge length.

One of the many reasons that my Hinderer XM-18 is my current & longtime favorite EDC, so yes, I'd want a choil large enough for a finger to comfortably rest in.

Imagine, if you will, a folder project involving Mr. Hinderer and Mr. Busse.

Let's get this back on the first page... It is the FOLDER death chat after all!

:eek: :D:thumbup::thumbup: Yep, that would be a folder fantasy right there!

...Has anyone thought about converting a Busse fixed blade into a folder??? Other than the Cucchiara Nuke Badger folder, I mean. (But that one IS sweet!!) I keep looking at a Game Warden and thinking that it would make a great little EDC folder... Does anyone know any knifemaker would consider taking on a project like this???:) ...Because I am seriously thinking about sacrificing a GW for a folding GW!! :D

Jaxx,

Let me know (via email) if you find someone willing to do this. I've often considered the same thing.
