Folder

Folder.

Seriously.

I am a self professed folder hater. Fixed blades are already open. duh....

But man...the custom tactical folders that I've been looking at are giving me a warm fuzzy feeling....:o They have this...machine look....just awesome.

Can you imagine a line of Busse hard use folders.........Big titanium Frame Lock with INFI blades....unreal....

Seriously....it's folder time.

to the entire Busse crew....Bring It!!!!!

:D

Heavy is right on the money -> titanium frame lock with a large infi blade.

I'd be all over that:D.

See....we all get it...

How about the Yuna's????

I have a Hard 3 on the way....man those are cool!!!

STAY ON TARGET!!! BUSSE FOLDER DEATH CHAT!!!!

I would buy a INFI bladed framelock. Something along the lines of an XM-18 but with a BAIII or AD shaped blade. Offer a choice of straight or partially serrated blade. I think it would be popular amoungst the Fire, EMS, Police, Military, and SAR community. That crowd sure knows how to put some high demands on their folding knives. Hopefully the price is right so I could get at least 2 maybe 3.

really...no lie these are killing me.

Why you ask? cause I got loot in paypal and no INFI folder to spend it on...

I wonder what sick designs the Boss is cooking up....:D

I hope he comes out with an edc HARD USE folder....

Hinderer_XM-18_3-1.jpg

...Just arrived back home from Rick Hinderer a few weeks ago, sporting Gen II upgrades and a more "sheeple friendly" look for urban every day carry. Built like a tank! :)

What's a death chat anyway? We keep posting here untill they (Busse Combat) or he (Jerry Busse) make a folder?

Kind regards,

Jos

I always thought an active duty would translate well into a folding knife. I would love a Busse folder!

If it ain't got G10 or micarta, don't call me. I've owned quite a few metal-handled folders and always wound up selling them. They just feel cold.

HERE'S MY BIG QUESTION............

didnt rumor have it that BLADE-TECH made the RAT TRAP???....it does look BLADE-TECH'ish
to me.

designing a folder and putting it together is obviously much more involved than doing fixed blades.

why did jerry sub contract out the RAT TRAP??

i've heard speculation that it was because his shop wasnt set up to do folders which would make sense.now dont hold me too any of this either.

so the question is will "THE FOLDER" actually be made at the busse shop by the busse crew and if he sub contracts it which company would that be too??

i was never too interested in the RAT TRAP when i found out is was a BLADE-TECH.

also lastly,i think if jerry ever does do a folder he should just name it THE FOLDER.

WOW!

That middle one, with the Damascus blade/bolsters is amazing. Is that handle material Mammoth Ivory Bark? Very nice folder!

Kind regards,

Jos

Yes,

That one is mine... Ducci just don't know it yet ;)

Here's my EDC folder until something in INFI comes along. It's the one in front.

Aluminum and stainless are too cold for handle material but Titanium works like a treat and warms quickly in the hand. I like this Hinderer Flashover as a medium/small sized EDC:

If you must have G10, how about something like this Rock Lobster from Jens Anso:
