Folder

Great looking folders. Thanks. Even Fixed blade Knife-Knuts have to have at least ONE folder.
Can't wait to see Jerry's.

WOW!

That middle one, with the Damascus blade/bolsters is amazing. Is that handle material Mammoth Ivory Bark? Very nice folder!

Kind regards,

Jos

Yes, it is Mammoth Bark!

:D

I bought the ZT 300 thinking, it would be my last folder. Then I chipped the blade, reprofiled, chipped again.

I need a INFI folder! All other steels do not compare.

Please.

Here's a pic of my Ray Rogers custom titanium Chupacabra folder.

Have a second one on order that will have mammoth ivory scales inlayed into the titanium.

Here's the big 14oz version beside a puny Strider. :)

No doubt bro....I actually am darn near to begging him to make me a Double Ti model....haven't convinced him yet but I'm breaking him down!:p

I was told by knife deisgners and an engineer that a slab of g-10 will hold up just as well if not better (in some cases) than Ti. I've never actually seen g-10 from a reputable manufacturer broken...

I'm stuck carrying a strider SmF or Emerson Cqc-13 or a CR mini-Seb. An Infi frame lock would be my next purchase.

But I think Jerry is in a tough boat. His customers expect ALOT out of his fix blades, its going to be hard to both design something nearly as tough, and convince customers its a FOLDER! Maybe he'd neet a lock like that Extreme Ratio with the metal insert!

i want one of these

I completely agree with Heavy: if I'm spending $500 on a folder, it should be INFI.

I like cheap folders. I can beat them and break them and replace them at Wal-Mart.

Those who collect folders are lucky enough to afford a collection of them. I just want it to work really well, and if it doesn't I want to toss it without getting emotional.

I've got these...but, i'm ready for the EPIC BUSSE FOLDER >>> Framelock, of course!!:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

IMO, The Busse folder is like the Alaskan oil reserves, money in the bank.

Jerry is in no rush to release it because his fixed blades are maxing out the shop output at this point, that is to say they are making plenty of dough.

The only way that the Busse folder will be released, IMO, is if a separate facility with separate full-time staff is set up to handle the demand. Perhaps his brother will be in charge??

I would be all over a Busse folder...provided I can get it open one-handed with my little girly fingers! I EDC and use another brand...but I wish I didn't have to!! ;)

Like the Man sez: BUSSE FOLDER DEATH CHAT!!!

Would you spend $500. on a Carbon Fiber, Titanium and Carbide folder? Anyone have a Warren Thomas folder?
Got one Incoming!! ;)

Oh, and one other thing... download the PDF if you want to see what it looks like! Or, at least what the mechanics look like...

Okay, one other thing too...

FOLDER DEATH CHAT!

There I said it.

I would definitely entertain the thought of a INFI folder...considering the best one I have now is a Benchmade. Actually, before I found Bladeforums, I though BM was crème de la crème. How ignorant I was :D
